Global Bridegroom Fast

Can the friends of the bridegroom mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them?  But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them  . . . they they will fast.  Matthew 9:15

The Global Bridegroom Fast is a monthly three day global solemn assembly of believers.  We have chosen to join with the International House of Prayer as they have called believers worldwide to join together in prayer and fasting for revival, motivated by experiencing love for Jesus.

Two Rivers staff gather together the first Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of every month, as well as seven days in December, to form a “solemn assembly” of fasting and prayer in the pattern of Joel chapter 2. Prayer and worship continues around the clock with corporate intercession meetings scheduled each day.

When is the Global Bridegroom Fast?
The global bridegroom fast is the first Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of each month, with seven days in December, totaling forty days of deliberate prayer and fasting throughout the year.

What are we praying for?

  1. Fullness of the Holy Spirit and Unity Throughout the Church (John 14:12 and 17:2–23)  Spiritual breakthroughs in the worldwide Church with unprecedented unity, purity and power.
  2. The Great Harvest (Matthew 24:14)
    Over one billion souls converted by the power of God.
  3. Youth Revival Movement (Malachi 4:6)
    Worldwide revival especially among the poor of the earth.
  4. Revival to Israel (Romans 9–11)
    Fulfillment of all the prophetic promises to national Israel.
  5. Houses of Prayer (Isaiah 62:6–7)
    The release of “grace for fasting” with worship and prayer to establish 24/7 houses of prayer in the cities of the earth, including Israel.
  6. Wealth of the Nations (Haggai 2:7–9)
    Release of finances for the Great Harvest, the prayer movement and the poor.
  7. The Wall of Fire (Zechariah 2:5)
    Divine protection of all that is birthed through prayer.
