Compassion & Justice - Isaiah 61
Many times over in scripture we are called to be a defender of the widows and orphans, to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, give water to the thirsty, heal the sick and free those who are bound. It is in these acts of compassion and justice that our prayers find their outward expression. Without this our faith is dead. (James
Equipping the Body of Christ
Jesus’ prayer was that the body of Christ would be one, just as He and the Father were one, and this has become our prayer as well. We are called to help equip the body to live out a life of unity and love. To call out, raise up, train up, send out, support and encourage those would accept the call to do the same.
